Everything you’ve loved about Superbells Magic® Pink Lemonade, now in double form. This dynamic, color-shifting calibrachoa opens lemon yellow, then takes on soft pink tones when exposed to UV sunlight. The overall effect is like two pastel calibrachoas comingling in one captivating combination. It is stunning in hanging baskets, window boxes and upright recipes where its slightly looser habit allows it to mix beautifully with other medium vigor companions. Try it mixed with Superbena® verbena, Goldilocks Rocks® bidens or Double Delight® Blush Rose begonias. Like all Superbells® calibrachoa, Superbells Magic® Double Grapefruit blooms from spring into fall, requiring no deadheading to keep it in color, and it has been screened specifically for resistance to Thielaviopsis.

 SUPERLOPHUS Sunglow Oenothera

As one of our most dependable, heat and drought tolerant annuals, this Texas primrose is ideal for containers and in-ground applications in arid, sunny climates. Resilient, radiant yellow flowers cover the finely textured foliage and attract beneficial pollinators.

  • Low maintenance, versatile annual
  • Handles extreme weather conditions with ease

  • Zone 8-10
  • Vigor 2

We’ve listened to our customers in the South and Southwest who have asked us for more dependable, heat and drought tolerant plants and are thrilled to bring you Superlophus Sunglow Oenothera, formerly known as Ladybird® Sunglow Calylophus. Renamed to emphasize its bold, standout performance in hot climates, this dynamic nativar is derived from a native Texas species. Though it has proven in trials to thrive in hot, arid, sunny conditions, it has also proven to perform well across the country including in the hot, humid summers of the Midwest and Southeast U.S.

We recommend using this durable annual for both commercial and residential applications in containers and landscapes like you would use Blue My Mind® Evolvulus. Just take care not to overwater or overfeed it. The very finely textured foliage helps to slow down transpiration dramatically so that even in 100 degree weather, established plants will only need watering every few days.

Superlophus is joined by other heat-loving stars like Augusta® Lavender Heliotropium, Blue My Mind® Evolvulus and Southern Blaze Phlox, which are all suitable for commercial and residential applications in southern and western climates. Together, these heat-tolerant annuals offer stunning color, unwavering reliability, and food for beneficial pollinators all season long.

Earning the name Supertunia Vista® is one of the greatest accomplishments if you’re a petunia. It requires years of development and rigorous trialing, both in-ground and in containers, with only the very best making the cut. This year, we are proud to debut a brand new color for the series – cool orchid pink. Supertunia Vista® Cool Jazz matches Supertunia Vista® Jazzberry® in vigor, habit and size, and the two blended together in recipes is absolutely show-stopping. Like all Supertunias, this new selection requires no deadheading to stay in bloom, and is blanketed in color from spring to frost. Pair it with your most vigorous growers in containers and landscape plantings or let it headline the show. Either way, it is destined to become one of your top sellers!
