Professional Growing Information I wanted some blooms to put at the bottom of a stairway outside my home. It gets only one hour of sunlight a day in its location and is still blooming like crazy! I am fertilizing regularly and it appears very happy. I will be looking for this variety from here on out for that tricky spot. Thanks, P.W.!

Planted in hanging baskets for the last three years. Far superior to petunias which become leggy and unattractive. They don't trail too much but the mounding quality is a great look. Foliage remains vibrant green. While deadheading isn't required, I found they needed a general trim halfway through the season. This produced a few more weeks of bloom. Maybe my climate in New York is to blame but they didn't last through October like some flowers. Perhaps it's just too long in a hanging basket. Still, they brightened up the porch for three months and to have such an interesting flower with little effort is great. More time to tend the rest of the garden. A lot of people pass these by in the nursery, I noticed. Give them a try. I definitely recommend.

I love this little cut faced flower & this year I want to plant them in my porch railing planters that's on the north side of the house. I have every year planted the same old flowers there like coleus, impatiens & begonias, they are pretty too but I want something different this year & I think I'll plant torenia in their place with some trailing vines & other flowers that will fall over the containers & hang down creating a beautiful display.

We put this plant in full sun, in a bed where almost all plants 'burn up'. The wishbone flowers bloomed constantly from May until November with little fussing. No deadheading, no extra watering. Exceptional. Will buy many more next spring!
